Remedies for the New Year

Hi everyone

Welcome to my first blog post,  which serendipitously happens to be for the New Year!

So, as you already know,  with the New Year comes a strong desire for change and improvement. It’s a time when resolutions take center stage, and many people throw themselves into new routines—hitting the gym, running in the streets, or embracing other healthy habits. However, as inspiring as this wave of motivation can be, it often fades quickly, leaving people feeling frustrated or demoralised. This is where Bach Flower Remedies can provide gentle, yet effective, support to stay on track and maintain balance.

Here are some remedies that can be particularly helpful during this time of transition and self-growth:

Walnut: This is the remedy for transition. It helps protect you from outside influences and supports you in adapting to change. Whether you’re starting a new exercise routine, shifting your mindset, or making lifestyle changes, Walnut provides the resilience needed to stay the course.

Chestnut Bud: Are you feeling stuck because you don’t seem to learn from past experiences? This remedy is perfect for breaking repetitive patterns and gaining insight from previous mistakes. Chestnut Bud helps you move forward with clarity and awareness.

Hornbeam: Lacking motivation? Struggling with procrastination? Hornbeam is the remedy to energize your mind and body, giving you the boost needed to overcome inertia and tackle your goals with renewed enthusiasm.

Larch: Do you lack confidence or feel unsure about your ability to succeed? Larch can help you overcome self-doubt and embrace challenges with a sense of capability and assurance.

Gentian: Are setbacks making you feel discouraged? Gentian is the remedy to restore hope and perseverance, helping you view obstacles as temporary and manageable.

Olive: Feeling physically or emotionally exhausted? Olive provides revitalization and replenishment, helping you regain the energy needed to pursue your aspirations.

These remedies can be used individually or in combination, depending on your unique needs. Take 2 drops of each remedy four times a day, either directly under the tongue or added to a glass of water.

Remember, change doesn’t have to happen all at once. Be gentle with yourself and celebrate small victories along the way. Bach Flower Remedies can be a wonderful companion on your journey toward lasting transformation and well-being.

Which remedy resonates with you the most? I’d love to hear your thoughts or answer any questions about how these remedies can support your New Year’s goals.

If you need help choosing I offer Zoom sessions or face to face sessions in Murroe, Co Limerick.
